Electro muscular Stimulation
Tone emits electro muscular stimulation impulses to induce involuntary muscle contractions targeting specific muscle groups such as those in the abdomen. When placed on the abdomen, this would be equivalent to thousands of crunches. Tone very effectively is used to treat diastasis recti, a condition where during pregnancy, the abdominal wall stretches and causes the two central rows of the abdominal muscles to separate. This treatment is non-invasive and requires no downtime. It is suggested to be repeated in sessions of 6, and can be very beneficial as we are not able to mimic the strength of these contractions personally.
